I want this bad. This is the kind of thing that butters my yams.
Yes it’s a small snow scooter thing And it was built by Chrysler. Here’s an old ad I found.
And a video of one in action.

Those are pretty neat and at $500 mid winter it sounds like a good deal. I wonder if the one in the video is hopped up because I heard that stock they were pretty slow. 6-10mph.

I’ve seen a few posts about someone trying to build something similar, but electric.
When I was in grade 9 or so, I cut my homemade snowboard in half and mounted the front half on the front fork of a bike. It was entertaining, but also a ton of work to pedal.

I was going to say, looks like a (super fun!) death trap

Those are really cool!
Its gone now, but for the longest time someone had a homemade version of this for sale on FB Marketplace. It was a Honda Elite 50, with a front ski and some sort of snowmobile track on the back.

Unless you weigh as much as a peckish 12 year old it looks a bit underwhelming. Snow pit bike might be a better description.

I generally refer to sailboats as the most fun you'll ever have at 12mph, but these look like they might just be better.

we had one of these. Meh. Maybe it was because we were using it at nearly 8000 feet though.

I seem to remember reading that the Orange ones were the faster model .

Yeah. The “runner” name was very accurate because it goes about as fast as your average healthy male.

Lol I’m sure that didn’t help.
